Cindy Goefft
Founder/Principal
With a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the University of Oregon and 17 years experience in corporate, commercial and retail environmental design, Cindy Goefft formed Goefft Design in 1994 to focus on residential remodeling and commercial space design. Her practice includes large-scale house remodels, major and small scale additions, kitchen redesigns, bathroom makeovers, and office and retail spaces.
Cindy believes that successful design means fully understanding the needs and aspirations of every client. Classic design principals permeate her work, along with fresh, modern forms. From initial sketch designs to master plans, each project is a unique work with her design sensibility, attention to detail, and love of form, balance and color evident throughout.
Prior to Goefft Design, Cindy was Senior Design Director at Addison Design Consultants, a global retail design firm. Preceding Addison, Cindy was Design Director at the Gnu Group where she focused on environmental design. Before moving to the Bay Area, she worked in design at Robert Bailey Design, BGBG Architects, Oregon Health Sciences University and Wm H Neel Architects.
Cindy has lived in San Anselmo since 1995 and has years of experience working with the Town Building Department, Planning Commission, and Town Council, as well as the building departments of Larkspur, Sausalito, Point Richmond and Marin County.
As her teenage children need her less, she happily spends time farming in her large organic kitchen garden, working on her home, hiking, volunteering, cooking and knitting.
